Meet Friends - never miss your friends again app for iPhone and iPad

Ever realized that a friend was in the same city at the same time but you didnt know it? Try Meet Friends and this will never happen again! Meet Friends shows you the current city of your friends and sends you a Push Notification, if a friend is around you. But we never use your exact Location.

WHY USE MEET FRIENDS:

* PRIVACY: We only use the nearest city center from the location, where you currently are. We never use your exact location. If you are in Berlin near the Brandenburger Tor our servers and your friends will only know that you are in Berlin, but not where exactly.

* BACKGROUND MODE: After you logged in and did the Guided Tour you dont even have to reopen the App. Of course you can do so, to have a look at the Table or Map View. But if the App is closed you will get Push Notifications if someone is around you - without draining your Battery! This is because we use Geofences to preserve battery power.

* PLANNING: You can plan trips in advance and you will get matches, if a friend plans a trip in the same city to the same time. Than you can plan a reunion with your friend beforehand.

* FIND FRIENDS: You have two possibilities to actively see where your friends are. Either in a Table as a List or in a Map with one Pin for each Friend.

* NEVER MISS FRIENDS AGAIN: You won’t miss any friends again, who are currently in your city. If you are on your way in another city you can spontaneously meet one of your friends to grab a coffee or beer.

* AUTO-CITY-UPDATE: In Meet Friends you can set your current city manually. If you want to you can also activate Auto-City-Update. Then Meet Friends is taking over the update of your city. We are doing this with Geofences, so that your battery will not be drained. You will find more information to this topic in our Help Section.

* SAY NO TO PINS AND USERNAMES: Why shall you memorize another Pin or Username? Meet Friends works with a Facebook-Login and uses your Friends-Network from Facebook.

* NO EXTRA-ADDING OF FRIENDS: Meet Friends matches your friends automatically. You will see all your Facebook-Friends, who are using Meet Friends as well.

Recommendation: Allow Push-Notifications for Meet Friends, that you get a Push, if a friend is around you. Also activate Auto-City-Update to update your current city automatically.

Meet Friends works on almost every device and with all providers. We have restrictions for some providers. You can find more information in our Help Section.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This is dependant on the radius you select for "Auto-City-Update". But we do think even with a radius of 5km you wont recognize a battery drainage at all.
